The film – which amassed a lifetime domestic collection of Rs 8 crore during it’s initial run, has now earned a profit on its budget and moving it from the flop column and towards the hit. As reported by Koimoi.com, Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane-led romantic drama has collected an impressive Rs 16 crore with the re-release of Sanam Teri Kasam. In fact, this 2016 romantic drama has collected more than the combined earnings of Loveyapa and Badass Ravi Kumar.

Friday (Day 1) – Rs 4.50 Cr

Saturday (Day 2) – Rs 5.50 Cr

Sunday (Day 3) – Rs 6 Cr

Total – Rs 16 Cr India Nett

As per reports, Sanam Teri Kasam was made against a budget of Rs 18 crore. With its latest box office collection – paired with its 9 crore from the initial, the film has recovered more than its entire budget – Rs 25 crore. If fast, the film can no longer be considered a flop as it has now churned out a profit of Rs 7 crore, aka a 38.8% return on the investment.

About Sanam Teri Kasam

Directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, Sanam Teri Kasam released in 2016 and starred Harshvardhan Rane as Inder Lal Parihaar and Mawra Hocane as Saraswati Parthasaarthy aka Saru. The film revolves around Inder – a former convict with a tough exterior and Saru – a traditional South Indian Brahmin girl who works as a librarian. Their paths cross unexpectedly, leading them to fall deeply in love. The emotional roller-coaster film dwells on topics such as family, marriage, love and forgiveness.
